Hey RIU what's shakin? Let me start by saying this is my first grow indoors and completely by myself. I've played in a few gardens and picked up a few things here and there, done loads of reading and figured now is the time. I happen to have an extra bedroom so I decided to build a grow room there. I built a divider wall across the room that's 10ft so the new space is 10x5x8 and sealed... the idea was to make to rooms out of that space one for veg and one for flower. For now it's just one room 6.5x5x8. I have a 1000w hps, cool tube reflector, 6in activated charcoal filter with a 440cfm for exhaust(creates great negative air pressure). I also use a half passive half active intake. The reason for this is I live in a cool coastal city and don't need to use my intake fan most of the time. I only turn it on when it's necessary. I guess you can call it active with passive tendencies lol. I am using cloth pots with a coco called tupur. The hydro shop I bought them at also gave me a 3 part nutrient from advanced nutrients called jungle juice. I bought some terpinator and G-Rex. I will be getting cal-mag if necessary just not sure yet. Went to a local dispensary (Harborside) and purchased 6 plants as to stay prop 215 compliant. I asked for a plant that would give me the best quality and be the most forgiving, I ended up with Double dream and Dream Queen both hybrids. Imo one looks more indica while the other looks more sativa. cant really find super straight answers on what they are so ill just play it by ear so to say. So the first pics I'm gonna post are the day I purchased the babies
