A few of my mates where saying that they use double strength nutes when they feel there plant is strong enough. Has anyone tried this? Peace
30% perlite should be fine. I just gave a guesstimate of the way I mixed my soil. Perlite definately discourages overwatering. It makes the soil airy and not so compact. You will notice te first time you water how long it takes for the water to run out the drainage holes.BTT, great update. I have switched to Fox Farms and Jacks and can tell a difference. Roached them all with MG a few weeks back. Will never use it again for anything of value.
I have also switched to Fox Farms for soil. I was thinking about 30% Perlite. You suggest 50%. I am very concerned over overwatering. Do you think the Perlite encourages or discourages an overwatered condition?
Do you ramp the nutes up like this during veg, or just during flowering? If during veg too, do you start over at the low dosage when switch to bloom booster?
Thanks,
