Walking up the path to the sounds of 'Holy Diver' by Killswitch, managed to get to the front to see Them Corcked Vultures (John Paul Jones on bass, thats the closest i think we're all gonna get to Led Zeppelin) 12 string bass, and a slide, Dave Grohl is supprisingly tight on his kit!
So, finished with them and moved over to the AC/DC stage, yup, their own damn stage, came out, smacked the set up with the classics, lost 20 fags, had 1 woman screwing because she couldnt see so had to get her on my shoulders, saw a kid (3 or 4 years old) with an AC/DC T-Shirt making the horns on her dads shoulders, cant wait till i have kids!
was charged £10.40 for a bottle of coke and a burger, but fudge it, these guys were amazing, anyone else go or had other experiences with festivals and gigs?
