So this is a problem i had back in the day when i thought i could grow MJ with miracle gro. (ahhh to be in grade 7 again...)
but even in hydro this problem is rearing its ugly head. The tips of leaves are curling down and i cant figure why. This is a stealth grow that cost me a total of 50 dollars.
for the first week and a half the plant was doing fine in my seedling area, but as soon as i transplanted the problem began
i am using 2 1/2 tsp of GH Flora Nova 7-4-10 organic "grow" nutes (7% Total N with 0.9% Ammoniacal N & 6.1% Nitrate N) in 5 gallons of water with a PH of around 6 (as far as my liquid ph tester tells me...)
the light is a GH "Jump Start" 24 watt T5 6400k High output fluorescent bulb
the seedlings are (obviously) in a simple Deep Water Culture system
the air pump is a bit small, as well as the enclosed closet this grow is being done in
there is no in/out air, aside from the times i let the door open
there is an oscillating fan that provides a decent circulation of air.
the plants also showed signs of heat stress at first, with leaves slightly curling upward, but that problem has pretty much faded.
