After a small break from cultivating, i have recently gotten and set up a tent, Secret Jardin, DR240 rev.3
But as a pensioner, i cant get all i want in 1 go, so building it up, bit by bit, with leftovers from previous years and such.
Starting with the DR240 (240x240x200). Took a bit of time, since the room it was set up in, was 260x320x205.
For now, the lighting consists of 2 x BLT 600w + 2 x ELT 600W ballasts, old mofo´s, not very exciting, but they provide okay.
2 x large adjust-a-wings + 2 reg adjust-a-wings + 4 x large cool tubes.
The dream consists of changing the light to 4 x Lumatek Zeus 600w pro, which will probably be january/february next year.
As i didnt have the cool tubes on hand when i set up, i started with making a bit oversized in/outtakes.
A 160mm OUT / 900 m3/h, mounted with 315mm silencer and a 1100 m3/h carbon filter.
An 160mm IN / 840m3/h, mounted with 160mm silencer and double intake filter/screens.
As i then got presented with 4 x cool tubes, i have added an 125mm exhaust fan, 420m3, mounted on a 900m3 carbon filter and will mount the cool tubes, when switching to 12/12.
As i got the cool tubes gifted, i am now looking into Co2 enrichment and have gotten quite keen on the Ecothechnics Evolution full kit ( CO2 Controller + Evolution Digital Fan Speed Controller )
(As of now, doing some mash fermenting, to add a bit of co2 and have some remedies for some shine later on )
getting 93% from this sukker.
Atm i am doing assorted containers and just a few plants, as i didnt expect to get up and running so soon.
A few "Gronest" 19L fabric pots, a 19L air pot, just to see how it works and rest in 12L plast.
These 9 lovely ladies will take up half the space in the back of the tent. ( 3 x Dedoverde Haze and 6 x 707 Headband, all HSO ) getting their HST/LST/Scrogging on.
And while they get their grow on, i have some OG Kush ( HSO too ) clones rooting in a veg tent, that i´ll add when the back row girls get large enough.
( sorry about my inability to take good shots, but as you can see, its hps photos and i havent found a way to get better pictures just yet, but will continue to try )
As i am just about having enough of doing soil grows, i am looking into RDWC, as it attracts my attention.
So also looking into either saving up, to do the lazy man version and buy a finished system, like the Alien one OR try put it together myself.
Finally medium/nutes :
As i am a longtime lover of Biobizz products, i am using their lightmix soil as base, though doing some recycling / revitalizing.
But as i stray towards RDWC, i am starting an test of an danish nutebrands products, Big Plant Science, that will suit both soil and hydro, so i get a head start on experience.
I start with BPS Plant Explosion - Endo & Ecto Mycorrhiza, both for cuttings/clones, and for every repotting.
Part A, Power House + Part B Calcium Plus + Bud Explosion + Stimulus + Aroma Boost.
Keeping a bag of Epsom salts at hand, just in case and NEVER run dry of BAC Plant Vitality Plus. Simply the best spidermite/thrips/flie remedy. Also 100% biodegradable, so no residue left for foul taste.
