Dr80 600 hps overkill or cool tube?

As the title says is a 600 hps in a Dr80 (80x80x160) overkill or should I add the cool tube to cool things down? I can move down to a 400 hps.

You're definitely going to need the cool tube for 600w...
Even then it's a little overkill for 80x80 imo...
I'd go for a slightly bigger tent, rather than do 400w though...

I have linked the cool tube up pulling cold air from my loft. Temps are high but manageable.

I've just moved house and downsized from a 20ft loft to a 2x2 lol

Aaargh! My nightmare; downsizing my grow...I feel a panic attack comin'. :lol:

Making good use of the space you have though, some nice tidy training there. :clap:

Watch out for loft temps during summer. One year my loft was hitting 50c.

The most I go up to in the old loft was 27c it was massive.

Thanks that plant is a clone, and has been vegging around 3 months now but I have been taking cuts/clones off her (around the 50 mark now). But the time has come to flower it out and crack a few new bennies off for when this plant is done,

I have a little cabinet grow going aswell with 2 fast n vast autos from heavyweight and 1 dutch passion auto mazar.

I've moved grow a couple of times (and a couple of times by the pigs, but they never brought them back :wall:

)
Doable with some planning, no problem. And it's nice to have everything all clean and organized when the job is done..

I run a 600 hps light in a card board box,if that's the only space I had,put a tube in to keep temps down,then up grade to cool hood one you get paper from the first cool hood grow.

I would all ways go over kill in the out let ,I use a 12" with two ,600's hps and 8" inlet,its the best bet ,that way you can all ways utilise it if you decide on more light's,i have used my fans on a 6 light set up and the temps was a little hot around 32,but it still was fine produced,a very tidy end result
