WASHINGTON (AP) — At one Department of Motor Vehicles’ office in the nation’s capital, motorists can get a driver’s license, temporary tags and something wholly unrelated to the road: a free HIV test.

In a city with one of the highest percentages of residents living with HIV or AIDS, health officials have now test-driven the in-DMV testing and are finding that it works. So far, more than 5,000 people have been screened and gotten results while they wait.
 
Lol. Our nations capital has the highest concentration of aids. How backwards is that? I figured it would be Detroit or someplace similar. Not DC, wow.
 
i think it is DC, then NYC.

I think it's good. people r sitting around the DMV waiting, might as well do something productive.
 
that would kinda suck though...you go in...

they say "hey you want a free HIV test?"

you say "sure why not, I should be clean"

You sit there waiting for your new drivers license to be done and you get called up "Sir, you have HIV"...

ALL I WANTED WAS A FUCKING LICENSE TO DRIVE DAMNIT NOT TO BE TOLD I'M GONNA DIE...lol
 
The bad this is having HIV, not the news you have HIV. I would rather be aware so I could live my life accordingly, and not suddenly die from a cold or something.
