Drooping leaves after 14 hrs of light

Hello fellow growers,

I got 4 plants growing right now around 2 months old. They're pretty healthy but it seems like after 14 hrs of light they start drooping like they been over water. I got them on a 18/6 light schedule. Idk if they just droop cuz the light is too intense or too close. I got one 400 watt mh light about 2 ft away from them. In the morning they will look healthy, leaves stretching up but after 14 hrs ill notice the plants start to droop and they stay like that until lights turn off. Do they do that cuz they know the lights about to turn off or what is the problem if there is. Any advice will help thanks.

Pics? And no plants don’t have sensor that tells them when the light is turning off but it could be root bound it could be lots of things maybe they getting thirsty and you need to feed them twice a day what’s your medium and temps humidity?

Looks like a big enough pot so it’s probably getting enough water so now what kind of water are u using feeding?

you should check your ph before feeding and also temps and humidity they do play a big role in health

edit : sorry I’m not a soil guy but I know there are so many variable that it can be you should start with , quality of your water if it’s PH’d correctly and how much EC your feeding and then figure out what temps are lights on and off and also humidity and maybe you can trouble shoot

Temp is 77 to 80. Medium is happy frog soil. Humidity is always low like around 20-40%.

Might be my humidity. I use dechlorine tap water. Set my ph to 6.3-6.5 and im using nector for the gods as my nutrients. The only thing is my humidity. I dont want to run my humidifier cuz its in my closet and idk if that will create mold on my walls or in my walls

ok so you could throw a bucket of water inside with them with wet towel hanging out absorbing the water it won’t mess your walls up and how much of the nectar are you using ? And do u know what your PPM is straight from tap?

I would look at you PPm the. That’s the only different between your clones and the bigger plants is you using nectar of god right?

tbh I don’t know I can’t say I don’t see burnt tips so it might be fine but something is obviously upsetting them so maybe try backing the light off for a day see what happns

So your feeding them every morning? If u are I would suggest it’s good practice to wait for your bucket to be light if they are still heavy in the morning don’t give them any until you know for sure water is all out so the finger test inch or 2 down if it’s still wet and heavy wait for it to dry and let them tell u when they need it
