Drop in grow bags, is it worth it?

HI Its that time of the year out here in Cali gearing up for my third outdoor grow and, i have new location, with new challenges ahead, first of which is a geological challenge, being that my new sight is in a very flat windy area where above ground pots are simply out of the question, so of coarse my first thought was to drop them in the ground, only problem being that the ground is straight sand, now my train of thought is to drop bags in the ground and fill them with good soil, now my question would be would it really be significantly beneficial to buy the bags and hassle with them at all, or would it be cool to just put soil straight into the holes with no bag, thanks for reading, smoke on:leaf:

buy the bags, dig the holes, drop bags in, drop plants in, water, and check now and then

Sounds like a less than Ideal spot. Can you build a fence?, Pile up some pallets? anything to build a wind break?
Is this a guerilla grow?

got a storage container and a travel trailer to break the wind, but shit still gets crazy, the spot isn't perfect but its a solid place to bring up lots of ladies, with all amenities needed, NO definitely not a guerilla grow by any stretch, backyard operation... thank for the help
