If you fail a pre employment drug test does the testing company have to contact you before they contact the employer? Any sources anyone might have would be very helpful.

well when i applied for my job at a nursing home ( didnt really want the job anyway) (went to doctors for a "physical") they piss tested me straight away,before anything else happened. came back within seconds for THC and i was out the door in another few seconds, no more physical and no more tests. i would assume they would have told the employer the reason i failed.
i would also assume in your situation they would report to the employer first, after all, you may have agreed to take the test.
there is alot of fine print regarding drug testing, perhaps you should read over the contract you sign before begining employment, or if you already signed, try and beat the test by drinking lots of water mixed with vinegar, lemon juice and salt, perspire alot and never give your first lot of urine in the morning, its the most potent.
