dry ice cure anyone done this

i have three weeks to go and am thinking about using dry ice to cure but i need to know if this will make the buds harsh,,,any input from the pros for this is my first grow and want the taste to be as smooth as possible thx

I'm no pro, but I looked into it a few weeks ago because I was thinking about doing it (that and maybe water curing). Apparently the Co2 displaces the air and isn't destructive to THC. The freezing cold Co2 is also bone dry sucking the moisture out of the bud. BUT I read an older thread on a different board and it seems harshness of the smoke is actually an issue. But there were SO many goddamn conflicting opinions that it was hard to nail down. It boiled down to like 2/5 saying there wasn't effect to the smoke and the other 3 saying there was some harshness added BUT that it was not nearly as bad as other quick dry methods.

I decided on just hanging my girls, possibly playing with water curing a bit. But I can see you having to be really really careful with this method as its so damn cold and trichomes love to shatter off when cold.

The plus of Co2 dry curing? It takes 7 days

good point with the trics dont want to lose any and dont want harsh weed
