?Dry Ice ?

I heard something about being able to rapidly cure your buds with the assistance of dry ice and the carbon d that it gives off, and that is the extent of my knowledge on that one and was wondering if anyone knows anything about that in a little more detail?

Dry ice has a temperarture of about -109.3°F or -78.5°C. That's cold enough to quickly cause skin burns and other issues. Although you can freeze dry foods with dry ice (or keep frozen foods cold for a long time) I don't think flash freezing is that effective on bud by using dry ice. Liquid Nitrogen would be far colder and is used widely in the food processing industry for that purpose. More rapid cooling may be obtained by plunging an object into a slush of liquid and solid nitrogen than into liquid nitrogen alone. It removes some, but not all moisture from an object. So while you could freeze your buds, it would not 'dry' them properly. And the carbon dioxide itself is only helpful to the living plant, not the buds you are trying to dry. ;)

P.S> Here's a link to an experiment that a user has already done, the results look inconclusive to me...
