I hang my fresh cut plants branch by branch in a cabinet that has a door that i start halfway open and as the buds dry out over the next 5-7 days close tthe door more and more till on the last day it should be closed. They are ready for cure when all the smaller branches and stems snap easily, no bending.
Then get some big glass jars and loosly store it in them opening each jar for 30 min a day for 1st 2 weeks then for like 1 min a day for following week or 2. Ands thats it, way i always do it, with no complaints.
PS- for manicuring watch this vid, I dont really prune unless im topping or pulling off dead leaves
