Drying buds, Hanging vs Box ???

Ok, so Im currently in my first grow/ my first dry. I am drying my buds in a homeade plastic box w/ ventilation, fan, and complete darkness.

I was initally going to hang my buds, but my friend (experienced grower) said to me that only lazy folks hang their buds.

What are your thoughts ya'll?

basic things you want when youre drying are low humidity, ventilation/ air flow, cool temps, and darkness. I could control all of these factors without a box, in my closet. maybe making a box makes people feel like badasses? there could be benefits im not aware of though. if you dont have room or if you got visitors then a box would be a good idea

I'm much too lazy to hang them. I just stick them in a spaghetti strainer that goes into a small box that sits in the dark. Works fine for me.

I put my buds-i trim the buds so they are about the size of a lighter-into a plastic cat box with some cheese cloth over it. I put that in a dark place and have a fan blow on it. 2x a day i stir the buds. A week later, they are dry enough to put into jars to cure.

I hang mine. Be careful of the fan, you don't want direct airflow on them. They can dry too fast.

AWWWWWESOME!!!!! Thank you very much for all your replys! It just seems its really just personal preference. Really no big difference. And yes, hanging would actually see more labor intensive.
