Drying...dreaded time

Has anyone heard of drying in a refrigerator crisp drawer I'm having trouble with heat and humidity where I live right now and it's time to cut my girls.

Sounds suspect. Does it exchange air?

What's temp and humidity troubles? You can dry about anywhere. It gets 120F° here but no humidity

No air exchange so no go I guess I'm growing in garage temperature becoming a problem but need to dry not in house or basement. Basement cool enough and easy to exchange air but worried lack of humidity may cause dry too fast

I guess I could tear down my tent and put it up in the basement and let everything dry and cure down there my plan was to try to drynice and slow and cold and then use grove bags for the cure

Why do you have to tear down tent? I'm lost here lol you're kinda making things harder than they have to be relax just get them dry and have a plan for after next grow. I'd dry where I grew. Drying racks are okay if you have no where hang buds individually.

I did contracting work in Tennessee with foreclosures we had to put damprid in all basements to keep out humidity that'll cause mold. You may live with no humidity tho js if you dont know for sure just put a meter in there for an hour or 2

Danger Will Robinson. It doesn't matter how much air circulation you have, the high humidity will mold it in a day.

I've heard of drying in a freezer (frost free) in a card board box, but a crisper is meant to be high humidity to keep veggies crisp. A frost free freezer raises the temp slightly, evacuates the resulting humidity, and drops the temp back below freezing. This is why meat can get freezer burnt. Actually, it should be called Freezer Dried. Freezer drying happens via sublimation. But don't think you can do a couple pounds, it won't work. A couple pounds would take months. A few ounces? Not so long.

I had about 5lbs in a frost free chest freezer for months in big paper lawn waste bags, and it just wouldn't dry. But it did dry well and faster once I took it out. Here's an untrimmed bud from a zip in a cardboard box after a month. Turned out fantastic with terpenes intact.
