Thanks for looking. Buds are on strings in a big rubbermade with no lid. there is no fan or air movement in the room other then the 3-4 times a day I came in and ran an ocsilating fan for a few min to move the air around. All the buds are crispy to the touch especially the small ones. Is this norm, or should they go into paper bags or jars? This is my first harvest and I need all the advice I can get! kiss-ass
Drying question, should bud be crispy on day 3?

If their dry already the humidity in which you put it was probably low (good thing). Yea you can smoke a nug or 2 but put the rest in mason jars and let them sit for 2 weeks for a more fucked up stone. 2 months of sitting and you will be so baked and gone wondering if you really grew marijuana.

id put them in mason jars right now and let them cure for 2 weeks or more

Well then let it sit for another day or more. The last thing you want is to smoke bud you think is ready but really isnt. I'm not to sure about the stem folding part as apposed to snapping as I don't even look at my cured harvest at least for 7 days. If you've waited this long can a day or 2 more hurt 
A day or 2 wont hurt at all, I am in no rush. I would rather take longer and have a better end product, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing the wrong thing by leaving it up.Well then let it sit for another day or more. No your not doing the wrong thing, a lot of people leave theres up for 7 days then put them in jars. You can put them in jars tomorrow and let the cure like the other guy said for 2 weeks. But bet your ass If I have nothing to smoke im going to light that nug up.
Okay, Will turn on my vent fan (bilge blower fan) I had it off because I thought they were drying too fast.
Thanks for the heads up, mason jars are in the dishwasher right now, but as soon as they come out and get dry (prop in the morn) I will cut all the nugs off the stems and jar them

Good luck post some pics!
so I clipped all the buds off the stems from this batch. let them sit in an open box overnight, but threw one nug into a jar, this morn that nug was still dry and crispy so I threw all other nugs into jars. Will post pics when i get a chance (still have a lot more nugs to chop up, I harvested over an entire week so some are still drying)
