Drying

Any advice appreciated.

After cutting plant and hanging in grow box with fans going for a couple days plant felt crisp.

If buds are put in air tight jar,how many days till smokeable?

lose the fan...it will dry the plant too fast and not as smooth smoke

Basically agree on the no fan comment. In regards to the jars make sure you open them a couple times a day to air out the excess moisture and avoid mold. This question has alot of variables how ever, since you fast fan dried your buds, they might be smoke-able and possibly harsh/or delicious already. Environment plays a big factor, technically could be dry and smokable already, or a week or more depending. How do the buds feel after spending several hours in the jar? If you bought them from someone and your bag came looking like your buds are now, would you question their moisture level?

Normally after I put them into jars they moisten back up over night, I then put them in a cardboard box for a day or so (according to how dry they feel) then back into the jars. After that I just burp the jars, for how long depends on how moist they still are.

You can smoke some bud after the initial drying but it won't taste as good and the buzz gets better with cure.

dry till the outside nug is crisp or very least 9 days, then jar , burping four times a day for 5-10 minutes for 2 weeks.
