Dual light ballasts 2 x 600

I saw that lumatek has a single ballast that can run 2 lights. Is there any benefit to running it this way other than space savings does anyone know?

Ya I know that would be one negative, I wasn't sure if it was maybe slightly more efficient or something like that. I know it couldn't be much because it still needs the 1200 watts but sometimes it takes a lot more power to get the light output so thought maybe this would save power a little by sharing some components or something like that.

don't forget it requires a 220 outlet not a reg 110 wall socket.

220 outlets suck.. fuckin stove plug ins lol
