I truly wonder about some people. My CAP timers been gradually turning off earlier and earlier so I reverted to turning it on and off myself. Still accurate because like most smart phones time is updated automatically. So I had to be out early this morning and told my girl the precise time the light had to be off as im in mid flower right now. I mentioned it so many times she started snapping. Of course I assumed she got the message. On top of that I told her about the timer last night because she asked why the alarm on my phone went off (didnt mention it this morning).

Come back 55 mins after lights off only its still on. She took out the CAP timer not noticing nothing was plugged in ???????#@!. She didnt noticed the ballast plug usually plugged into the timer was still plugged into the extension socket.

Anyway is 55 mins gonna break the bank or should I switch lights on at the same time.

I would keep your current light schedule. IMO, having the lights come on in the middle of the dark period is WAY worse than leaving them on an extra hour. My guess is you'll be fine.

My lights stayed on longer than scheduled a couple times due to power outages that got my timer outta wack...Never more than 30 to 40 minutes. I was worried, considered changing my light schedule to adjust but was advised that I was "over thinking it". Anyway, I let it be and all is well, about to harvest. Most important I believe is that they don't get disturbed DURING the dark cycle.
