Durban Poison - which seedbank do you suggest?

Which Durban Poison shall I grow out ? So far the only contender I can find is Dutch Passion who claim there's is a pure Sativa and a hybrid.

I have good experiences with DP, some of the greatest smoke I ever had. Look at other people's grow journals though to find the strain's weaknesses if it has any (might be more prone to hermying).

aw well that sucks well how about nirvana seeds they claim that their urban poison is (durban poison x northern lights x durban poison) not a pure durban but you may find some good phenos & their inexpensive.

I'm about to chop a Dutch Passion Durban in say a week. It's got a funky smell to it thats hard to describe, not bad, just not like any cannabis I've smelt before. Supposedly it's pure sativa,which is why I chose Dutch Passion, other Durbans are a cross of some sort from what I've read. Nice big colas,denser than I was expecting from a sativa, not as frosty as I'd like at 8.5 weeks but not a waste. A small lower branch snapped off 2 days ago, after a quick dry I was pleasantly surprised at the mello/earthy/citrusy undertone taste and the fast hitting head high. I'm extremely excited about the finished/cured smoke. This is a strain I WILL be focusing on once I have an indoor grow area.

Thanks for that :) Would be in interesting to see what the cured smoke is like in terms of it's sheer Sativa soaring potency. I'm looking for something that will lift my brain into the skies and then hurl me headlong straight into the stars.

My tolerance level, it's too high. Everything I've grown so far has been disappointing.

I hear that, I've become quite the heavy smoker,IMO, over the last year or so. I try and have a few different strains in my stash, I found myself building a tolerance when I only smoked 1 strain all the time. The Durban doesn't have the highest potency(15%) compared to some strains(I have Barney Farms LSD@25%) but that's not always an indicator of strenghth. It's gonna be about 3-5 weeks before I can do an honest smoke report, I'll try and get back here with an update.
