Dutch Master Green Spirit Grow

So I got these seeds from a buddy of mine and I thought I'd throw them into a few
dwc's and see what happened.

Here are a few pics of them right now, sorry I didn't take them sooner. Germinated on 9/13/11.

Some factors: Changing Res in each bucket once every 7 days. Light is a 600w HPS w/ no vent fan or duct work. (Problem I'm working on) Temperature in grow room is a constant 80 Degrees.

The second grow bucket has some pure white widow seedlings 7 days from germination under a 100w florescent.

Let me know what you guys think, i'll post some higher res pictures soon.

Checked the plants this morning when the light came on and the big guy in the middle back was droopy. I lifted up the lid to find that white slime that heisenberg talked about clumped all over my roots. Changing the res conditions today with increased air flow, more h202 and a visit to the hydroponics shop to talk microbes. The tea thing sounds like a step too many for me so I'm gonna try to find an all in one product. Anyone want to suggest some?

not to sound like a dumbass, but looking at your DWC setup in the tote...why did you make the holes for the netpots so close together and not space them out more evenly? or is that only a seedling area that will be transplanted into the 5gal buckets later?

Just a seedling area, I will be transplanting them in a couple of days.

Figured it was the best way to propagate the germinating seedlings. Its not perfect but with that layout the spray nozzles don't miss anything.

Went ahead today and did something I didn't know much about. I had left the plants totally alone, no stressing or manipulating. Today I cut away much of the small growth below the canopy. Everything growth on the plants was budding but I feared that the they were diverting to much energy to these small growths and it was taking away from the main cola development and the tops of the shoots. I don't know how it will turn out or what effect it will have on the plants but I'll keep this post updated as an experiment for myself.

I'm hoping that the plants will divert more energy into these top growth sites.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Harvested the UFO Connie Chung yesterday. Beautiful plant. About a ounce dry is a good estimate. The green spirits are a little slower, gonna be more like a 10-12 week flowering period but they have at least double the weight if not triple the UFO strain. Finally got some high res photos too. Enjoy!
