I germinated some bag seeds (from good weed) and placed them in rockwool cubes and they all popped up. Out of the 6 that popped, four survived. Once they had their first set of leaves I placed them in netpots filled with hydrostones. I bottom fed them in a bucket 3 times a day with some mild nutes. I just placed them in a plastic tote today and filled the bucket with 1/2 nute solution and ph'ed to 6.0-6.5 and will lower it over the next few days. I didn't want to shock them going from 7.0 tap water to 5.8ish. They look good for the most part except I started getting some drooping (before putting them in the tub), any advice what it could be. Really trying to save that really droopy one.

ROOM:

79-83degrees
40-50% Humidity

WATER:
6.0-6.5 PH
72degrees

Move it away from them, how far? I did the hand test and it doesn't feel hot. Thanks for the response.

You move the light up inches at a time until you get the right lumens. Your leaves should grow out FLAT.

AHHH HELP! lol. So I moved the light up so its 12" above the plants. The light is shining directly over the two that are doing the best, I moved the others away a bit to help with the light issue. After moving them the one in the back that was already droopy is almost completely dead and the one in front of it that was looking okay is almost dead too. Its only been one night! I ph'd the water this morning and it was still around 6.5 so I lowered it to 6.0. Any other suggestion to what it could be? The water level is to just right under the net pots because the roots aren't coming out the bottom, yet the stones seemed rather dry when i looked at them this morning. I dipped the ones that weren't looking to good in the water to get the stones wet and see if that helps. Any advice would be great. really trying to save my babies, please help!

What kind of light are you using?

Is that foil over your net pots? If it is take that shit off.. only mylar or other approved light reflecting material should be used.

If you're using something like a HIDS 250w or better you still need to move the light up. If you're using fluoros maybe move the light down and take off that foil. Either way what kind of nute situation are you in?

Yea, its some kind of reflective duct tape. Using it to keep the res temps down, is that not okay? Also it's a 400w HPS. I'm currently feeding at 1/2 the nute formula. I'm thinking that I might of transplanted to early. I picked up some rapid rooters and placed some more seeds in. In case these die. I'll move the light up more but will I always have to keep it this high off the plant or only when they are this small?

Yeah move that light up some more man.. how did you keep the seedlings alive with the light so close? And eventually the plant will be able to take more light (closer to flowering time)

Shit man, lol, no idea. I had it on 150w setting till they hit the second node then I blasted em with the 400w once I put them in the rockwool. Guess that was too much, figured more light the better.

Yep this is correct and it will probably do good to flush them because you've been ODing them..

Just wondering how long the seedlings can go on just ph'ed h2o?
At least a week. If you want shitty plants.. forever..

It's a common misconception that mary needs N-P-K. She just really wants it.. and you REALLY wanna give it to her. :blsmoke:

I've given nutes as early as three days in the DWC. But my seedlings were already a couple days old at that point, so it was pretty much a week before they got a SUPER low dose.

I started nutes after the embryonic leaves started turning yellow which means they need it right? And I started out on 1/4 strength.
