DWC + fogger

I was wanting to get a fogger to add to a DWC system what type of a fogger should I get? can I get the ones they sell at home depot? what size? how long should I run it? any other help would be great.

you are looking for a nebulizer. There are many different ones available with different outputs. There is a dude on YouTube with a diy vid about aero/fogger hybrid. Iirc he said it's best to keep it on a timer.

For those with root rot issues check out Hydroguard. I used it on my last dwc and it helped allot!

Also about the airstone, I recommend a air diffuser hose.

Mine was cheaper and only like 2ft. After using airstones, I loved the diffuser hose. It is super easy to clean and can be reused over and over.

My suggestion would be not to glue the airstone to the bottom of the reserve. If anything they make suction cups that will hold them in place. Just easier to clean the reserve and I strongly recommend that every few weeks as well.
