DWC Master Kush, Bubblelicious, White Widow, Nothern Lights, AK-48 Indoor Grow

hey guys, i've been a lurker on these forums for a while now but i figured i've got a new space to grow, all new equipment, and i want to keep a perpetual grow journal, so here it is. i didn't start in the very beginning because usually the beginning is a little boring. the room was designed for a perpetual grow with 5 stages of life going at all times but since i'm starting from scratch i'm going to do a SCROG grow in the spot designated for my mothers. i've been taking pics since the beginning so i'm going to post photos with explanation down at the bottom.

my DWC veg room was created using:
- (1) roll white/black grow room tarp
- 4x4 (40 gal) plastic grow tray covered with construction grade 1" styrofoam
- (2) 27 gal plastic storage container (18 gal water each)
- (3) hose sections, drains, shut off valves (built myself for draining tray & bins)
- (30) 3.75 baskets & lids
- (18 ) 1" rock wool cubes
- (1) bag lava rock
- (9) T12 48" lights
- (1) 4x1 T5 grow light (won it in a raffle, lol)
- (14) 6ft chains, (4) 5ft chains, (16) carabiners
- (18 ) anchored ceiling hooks
- (2) SCROG nets built with woods, nails, & rabbit fencing
- (1) 12 spot commercial grade air pump with black tubing
- (12) airstones of varies styles, sizes
- (1) humidifier
- (1) ocalating fan
- (3) power strips
- (1) temp/humidity gauge

i originally started with:
- (4) feminized bubblelicious
- (4) feminized white widow
- (4) feminized northern lights
- (5) feminized master kush
- (5) feminized ak-48 (grown this strain before)

after germinating and some time in the clone box i ended up with:

- (3) bubblelicious
- (3) white widow
- (3) northern lights
- (4) master kush
- (5) ak-48

i have 5 more strains i'm starting today. some of my plants already going will be going into the SCROG set up once they're big enough. nutrients will be coming soon.

the lights, air pump, and fan run 24/7 and i run the humidifier (full) once a day until empty.

i plan on continuing this journal with weekly updates. if you have any questions or opinions, feel free to reply. i will unveil ventilation and the flowering room as i have plants to put in there. the photos i uploaded went out of order for some reason so i'll explain them individually...

1 - some clones i took from a friend (blue mystic, some kind of kush, and a no name)

2 - bubblelicious, (2) AK-48, master kush / day 29 from seed

2 days after adding nutrients for the first time

same 4 plants after 2 more days

all 18 doing well. i think i'm going to top a few of them next week. the 4 losers came back from the dead when i started nutrients, they're looking like young plants but plenty of new growth.

i completely got the 2 'mother' tubs set up with water & running last night, adjusted the pH earlier today, i'm going to add nutrients tomorrow. some time in the next day or 2, i'm going to move the 4 over to them where they'll stay for the SCROG grow i'm doing and top all 4 for the first time. the strains i'm using for the SCROG tubs are master kush, white widow, bubblelicious, and AK-48.

just waiting for them to all get taller/bigger so i can cut some clones and get this whole room going full force.

been a busy week in the room. tweeking everything for all the plants. moved almost all of the ones in the big tray to see if they grow better in certain spots. i cut some clones to keep my plant count climbing, they're looking good. i also got a unknown clone from a friend. i have 2 AK-48, 1 Northern Lights, and the unknown in the clone box right now.

a few shots of the ladies, all looking really good. all the ones that can be topped have been, and new growth can been seen. there's a few stragglers but all 18 are growing strong, some were just slow off the start.

got an interesting curve ball today, i have 2 northern lights plants that have really taken off over the last 2 weeks. they're twice at tall as all the other ones. i went to top one of them today and came across a surprise. when i originally ordered my seeds from nirvana, i bought one of their 5 strain 25 packs. i ended up with 18 plants from the lot. the northern lights strain was supposed to be auto-flowering. when i got the seeds i spent a night reading strain comments on nirvana's website. almost everyone that commented under their northern lights feminized auto-flowering strain said the auto-flowering feature did not work for them, the plant vegged as normal and then they flowered it themselves on 12/12. after reading that i kind of put it out of my mind. i've never grown an auto-flowering strain before. tonight when i took a peek in the room, pistils coming off of 2 of 3 of my northern lights plants, the 3rd is part of a younger batch started later. this just got interesting...

this is 48 days from seed, btw.

Well im sure that may throw some of your plans off if they are an auto and you didn't realize it. Not a bad change tho. Everythings lookin beautiful tho keep it up
