setup
4x4x6 grow tent

Led 600w full spectrum 24 inches from the top of bucket

environment is 75 degrees with 50% humidity

nutrients = fox farm seedling/cutting hydroponic recommendations

water level is just touching the rock wool.

ok my general question is,
My seedling is going on week 2 but it has no leaves, is it just a patience thing?

Firstly werid is hasn't developed cotyledon leaves yet. I'd say fudged as you have no seed cap either which normally hides developing cotyledon sets.

Secondly you should have an air gap between the top of the water and base of the net pot. You keep the rock wool cube moist by dribbling a few drops of water on it when it looks like it's drying. You want to encourage the roots to search for water. Later helps air the root bowl further.

Thirdly 600w HPS at 24 inches for seedlings is mental power. If youre going to use it put it up high as possible for the first few days and lower gradually to approx 24. Light can burn just as much as canopy temps. Measurements should be taken from canopy top not the bucket heights.

Fourthly pH is good 5.5-5.8 lower yours slightly just under 5.8 is better than just over. pH is a logarythmic scale meaning a pH of 5 is ten times stronger than that of something with a pH of 6.

EC and PPM are the same thing pretty much. Some people like EC like myself others like PPM. 1 EC is 500ppm or 0.1 is 50ppm. These are measured with a device called a TDS meter. Cheap ones you can get on Amazon but recommend buying something like bluelab, they do a truncheon or a pen. I prefer the pen.

If your rock will cube is drying to fast put a clear plastic cup or glass over the top to keep the humidity high around developing seedlings. Good luck and keep an eye out for signs of heat stress under the glass/cup.
