4 rdwc plants (in 10 gal buckets) were drinking 5 gal a day combined during the stretch. I changed the nutes on day 1 of week three and they barely drank a gallon total the first day. Is this normal? Do rdwc plants stop drinking when the nutes are changed? Will they bounce back in a day or two or should i assume something worse and dump these nutes and give them fresh ones. I was using lucas and only difference was adding fox farms open sesame to this batch of nutes. I added nutes in this order: silica, calmag, micro, bloom, then poured about 12 oz of that mix into a cup containing 33 grams of open sesame powder, stirred, and dumped in with the rest of the nutes. I only did about 30% of reccomended open sesame, and 3/4 strength lucas (6ml micro, 12 ml bloom) and total ppm using ro water after nute change was 920ppm with 200 of that being calmag. What gives?
