DWC question

First time growing and decided to jump right in to DWC. I have a 4x4 tent, 4-5gal bubble buckets, and hydroton for the medium. My seedlings are in rapid rooter right now and I'm transplanting soon. They are Gorilla Glue autos.

I was wondering if I need to top feed them until the roots develop more or if hydroton will wick enough so that I don't have to worry?

Thanks in advance!

I veg the seedlings in RR's until I get roots popping through the media.
They are then transplanted into the lids and top fed until I get roots hanging. Usually takes 5-7 days.
After roots are hanging, I fire up the dwc system.

THANKS! I was thinking along the same route.

So I transplanted right into DWC buckets without any topfeeding. The roots had no problems finding water and the plants are now 6 weeks old and very happy girls.

The bubbles come to the top of the water and pop spreading little moist particles around the tank/bucket with the moisture in the air the roots head towards it and start branching out the side of the net pots
