2 of my 4 dwc buckets ran dry at some point in the last 24 hours i think , partially my own fault due to man flu :(

Anyway could someone please advise as to what to do ?

I had already mixed up the 4 new buckets last night with a fresh set of nutes etc... as i just switch the 4 buckets for 4 new ones . As i lifted the 2 larger plants i noticed the were light. 1 had around an inch or 2 of water left and the other was completely dry .

I checked the ec and ph best i could with what water was left they had been sitting in and it was through the roof on the ec 4.1 and ph had dropped to 4.7.

Im steralising the buckets they were in atm , should i empty the solution they are in now and replace with a mild nute solution or just plain ph`d ? arggh help lol

The roots on the one that was sat in the inch or two of water seem ok but the one that had completely dried up the root tips at the bottom looked dark . TBH i didnt take a close look i just wanted to get it back in the water asap but ill take some pics in a bit , once this lucozades kicked in lol ..

tia for any advice.

i would honestly go with water for now with no solution the roots are more than likely dry and unhealthy the last thing you want to do is pour strong feed on them.. not that its going to be what kills them but your better off running plan water to re hydrate it.

it really depends on how bad it got your more than likely going to loose a bit of your fans when it comes back but it should come back if its not fried..

also if your water was that acidic and it was sitting in the acidic water your going to want to flush and wash the roots with clean water and not a chemical feed for the simple fact the roots aren't actually being washed clean.
