dwc fem 8-9 day and soil 15-16 days this would be my first grow how long shld i veg em i got 400w hps and 4' flourescent in 2'.5x7'x8' closet soil gonna got outside in a few weeks when sexed. takn out 4' light in week or 2 currently using bionicare neuts thinkn about getn some super thrive and supernov...temp is anywhere from 74-85 got fan run'n light on 20/4 timer and mylar on walls ph is always at 6.0-6.2 ppm is at 450 change every week atm got 5gal in res ppm and ph dosnt really fluxuate i think thats about it any comments welcome

lookin great man, if you dont mind a quick question.

what do you think contributes to your stable Ph and EC?

Im running a 20gal DWC and find the Ph is constantly rising even when i keep my PPM's steady

What kind of water are you using?

Thanks a lot. your setups looking great. im jealous of you 400 hps. still running a 150 myself for the electric bill.

not too sure why it dosnt flux too much but im using distilled so my ppm starts at 0 water in res has 5 gal in it ..only after 2-3 days it goes up 20- 40 ppm but plants seem too love it. i also put half the nuets as recomended on bottle too little is aways fixable when u do too much of something is what will stress/kill plants imo and if plants seems good i just add a lil more and keep note of it and what plant so next time i can jst add lil more. my 400w only 25 a month at .15 a kw/hr i think my fans is what is fkn me w the power and if u get a vaporizor get a cool mist cause those heat vapor will make ur elec meter look like a flyn saucer lol... would love to see some pics if u cld get any on ....hope any of that helps u gl w ur grow

ya since my res is 20gal its a bit tough to get that much distilled water every week so im in san diego tap water (bad). however the girls seem to be handling the constant ph flux so far. im using so much ph down that the ppms are shooting up though (a problem i didnt forsee initially).

only have shitty cell phone pic of the plants at the moment (the hps color is the reason for the black lines) but here it is.

u cld invest in a cheap $120 ro system if ya got the cash for it or local fish stores sell ro water very cheap 20-40 cent a gal

thanks for the thoughts bake. when u say fish store, do you mean like a petstore like petco or petsmart? also do you just bring your own container and pay for how much you use or buy it in their containers?

thanks a lot man sry for all the questions, this water issue is getting hard to manage.

i read it a few times not too sure if petco ect dose as i just buy the distilled and glad to help...new pics few girls got lil burn got hps too close and stood up 4' fluro
