DWC strange growing problems

I am growing dwc and apparently is banana kush. Tried to grow this strain along side another last grow and this same strain grew with the exact problems im having now.

I have kept the ph at 6, they were clones with beautiful white roots already before i transfered to the netting pots. The roots are growing normally into the water, dont have a picture of them atm though. Water temps stay between 17-19c. When i first transferred the ppm was 400 and my first instinct when the problem started was to drop the ppm to 150. Using house and garden aqua flakes and calmag. Growing under LED. Havent seen issues like this across a dozen different strains ive grown. Welcome to any suggestions and provide any additional info i missed here. Cheers20200609_212807.jpg20200609_212756.jpg

looks like nute burn for sure. possibly nute lockout now.

are you sure your pH is accurate? calibrate your meter lately?

how about the roots? root rot maybe?

Looking at the very small amount of tip burning would that be enough on its own to cause that much damage ?
tip burn, if not fixed fairly quickly by lowering EC, can easily lead to nute lockout which leads to that much damage rather quickly.

and then if pH is out of range or there is root rot, it happens even quicker

I have a second ph teter i use with brewing which i used to confirm my other one. Both have been calibrated.

The problem started before the roots even grew through the net pot.

Im guessing the first thing you said is probably my problem though.

Ph is definitely good, and roots are white with no signs of rot. Im in the southern hemisphere so this time of year my temps aren't a problem.

Since lowering Ec there has been minimal change but it also doesn't look like it's getting worse.

I also turned down the intensity of the light, 600w led may have messed them up a bit too.

As I read there are many strains that ate just painfully probmatic from the beginning as all clones carry the genetic traits good and bad. Haven't heard much good news with my current strain but there are so many factors in play.

So just to follow up. I managed to recue this plant. Three things i changed.

1. Was using root excelurator, and it honestly didn't seem to work with my system. Looked to coagulate on top of the res. Have gone back to peroxide.

2. My light was probably still set too intense still from previous grow, so dimmed it down by half.

3. After this step is when i seen immediate improvement, like within 24h. I started giving it a daily foliar feed of part calmag and part epsom salts and continued this for two weeks. Once it started taking off though i noticed a mag deficiency reoccurring. This strain cant get enougj of it. Have had to change my nutes around to incorporate a lot more magnesium. I missed adding it on two different occasions and within days the leaves started showing signs.

Anyway, here it is day 28 of flower.20200829_135920.jpg20200829_110429.jpg

Gold can or Silver can? Gold is soil formula; silver is for hydro.

I had a couple clones go a bit funny similar to yours but not as bad recently, i think it was the roots excelurator, im in coco tho, but i had a tank mixed up with roots excelurator and it had been sitting for a couple weeks and a couple clones started to go like this but i changed it as soon as i noticed and theyve recovered fine. I dont think the roots excelurator should be left in water for too long need to use it quickly
