Dyna Gro Bloom chunks at the bottom of bottle

Like the title says my quart bottle of Bloom has chunks sitting at the bottom of the bottom. I can hear it bouncing around when I shake the bottle. No matter how hard I shake it, I can't seem to get the crystals to dissolve back into solution. No idea what it is but I am assuming it is crystal salts that fell out of solution. I've only had the bottle about a year and still have at least 2/3 of it left. Has anyone experienced this before and did it seem to affect anything? I am worried that it might be one nutrient in particular and is throwing my ratio off. Whatever it is, I am surprised shaking it won't dissolve it. I wasn't like that when I first got it. Maybe the past 6 months or so. What do you guys think throw it out or just keep using it? I haven't noticed any problems, but why take the chance? I have a small 8oz bottle of Foliage Pro and that is fine.

to be safe I would toss it, not worth the risk. No product should do that if you use it often and shake it often... gl friend....

Dyna Bloom is notorious for crystal forming. Some people dilute in warm water. I don't, I keep on using it with no ill effects

why is that even a question? of course its causing an imbalance those salts didnt just materialize out of thin air lol
where are you storing your nutes?

my bottles of dyna gro have instructions on what to do when this happens, try reading the bottle sometime instead of getting uninformed opinions from the internet

It says if you purchased dynagrow you got ripped off..

I had that happen to my foliage pro . i put the bottle in a room with a heater, and it dissolved back into liquid. dont let those bottle s get cold room temp i believe is fine..

If you got it locally, or a local nursery sells the same product....go to the local store and buy a new bottle and save the receipt. Then transfer the new bottle into a milk jug. Put the bad liquid into the newly purchased bottle (including the crystals). Top it off with water. Return to the store with the "new bottle" and your receipt and tell them that DynaGro has terrible quality control and you would like a full refund.

This seems to be an 'issue' with the bloom bottle depending on how it has been stored. I say 'issue' because the precipitate has never caused any issues for me.

That being said, precipitate happens. Below is a bottle of AN's Connoisseur:

One parts do that. I have a gallon of 3 part going on 5 years (humboldt) with no issues. Isn't there 2 compounds that are hard to prevent percip when mixes together? @churchhaze you know ? Thx.

calcium and phosphate ions or sulfate ions will cause precipitants if together in high concentrations.

Calcium sulfate (gypsum) and calcium phosphate (bone meal) are the precipitants.

The red stuff in the Connoisseur is probably red because of food coloring.

Depends on what color they are kinda. Keep us updated with the return. Sometimes you can "exchange" or get a "store credit" for things like underwear. Like if you get a Hanes 3 pack.... put two of your old drawers under a new drawer and return to the store.... since you want to not reveal your ID just tell them you lost the receipt and want a "store credit". Then you can go to the underwear section and pick up an elite brand like Michael Kors... Take that new Michael Kors bag, put 2 of your old Hanes underwear in it and leave ONLY ONE of the MK underwears. Drive across town to another store selling the same thing and get a "store credit" for the MK package which now contains 1 MK drawers and 2 Hanes/FruitOfLoom underwears that you have abused for years. Rinse, Repeat, Lather. If you got 20 pairs of old underwear now, if you were quick you could probably get all new underwear in your wardrobe and it would all be elite Michael Kors and you got it all for free (excluding the cost of gas).

Gas prices are temporarily down so for designer drawers its definatley worth it.
I'm not even gonna wash the used ones.. I'm just gonna do it on a daily basis so i have a fresh pair of skibbies everyday.

toss it man

Why toss something that's still good. Like I posted in the 3rd post I still use it with chunks. If it really bothers people pour in sauce pan turn stove top on low stir a few times and the crystal magically disappear!

its fine. i have used it too. Just dilute it with warm water. Dyna gro kicks ass.

Use equal parts what you have left and HOT water. If it were me I'd use some of my RO water. This should dissolve the salts. Then use double the dose you normally do. I only buy gallons or 5 gallons and there's always some on bottom and never caused me an issue either. It's tells you to do this and it can still be stored just as long. If you check your label I'm sure it's on there somewhere.
