I have some questions. Has anyone used this product. I am using it at the moment and concerned about how it cant be used on food products. I contacted dyna gro about this and they told me that the carbomer 672 has not been approved by the EPA for use on food crops. As my wife likes to eat edibles and I like to smoke it i was wondering if there is a risk there. Can you guys please give me your input on this. Thank you.

Clonex has the same warning on there label i found out but they do not contain the carbomer 672. It is used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry the wiki says.

You'll be fine with it. I use several Dyna Gro products, good stuff.

As stated, Clonex has the same warning and I've been using that for ~20 years. I'll give the DG gel a shot when my current supply runs out.

if it concerns you then dont use it. i take 20-40 clones every three weeks and have never used a rooting compound and only lost 1.

I just did my first run with it.I noticed thicker roots.I used only 1ml for 3 gal dwc cloner. When just used for cloning MJ,the stuff they warn about on the label to protect there assses are so minimal.By harvest time the stuff is broken down rendered inert way before this.Do not touch or ingest and a little goes a long way for something you actualy do not need but is good insurance.

I was able to get clones using H & G's roots excellurator, its a lot more expensive but its a great additive and should be pretty safe for anything you're growing
