When is the earliest time to flower you can flower.? some people say when its 12 inches.. can you flower before this...?
I cant back this up but id imagine 2 things would happen. 1: The plant would be to weak to flower and i suppose the stress from trying to bud\flower would kill the plant off, or 2: it will produce a very small yield and buds will contain low THC since the plant isnt strong enough to produce a fair amount.. Thats just my 2 cents. When is the earliest time to flower you can flower.? some people say when its 12 inches.. can you flower before this...?
I am currently flowering with 3 of my plants at around 9 inches tall, 2 of them are around the 2 feet margin. i was forced into doing this because if i let the 2 oldest go any longer they would grow into my light and that would not be good =/.you can flower whenever you want. many people have gone 12/12 from seed. remember though, that veg time greatly effects the yield so most people wait until around 12" or until they see pre-flowers. pre-flowers are a sign of maturity and are a good sign to go switch your lights over. if you don't have a lot of space or if your lights aren't very powerful, i would recommend flowering well before the 12" mark. more like 6" or 8"
This is completely wrong... 12/12 from seed (no mercy) and 12/12 from clone (sog) are actually the opposite of a waste of time, they produce fat colas in very little time.you can flower from seed. The results are hilarious and an extreme waist of time.
ya thats not true at all but I would recommend a solid 4 weeks of veg (with a full strength nute solution) but its up to you and how your ladies are doing. Generally though the longer you veg them the potentially bigger your yield will be. When they look healthy then put them into flower. The most important part isnt size but the health of your plants when they go into flower.you can flower from seed. The results are hilarious and an extreme waist of time.
