Early flowering and Reveg

I'll try to explain this as best I can...

I am one of those people who bought a clone from a dispensary and put it outside too early in the year so it went straight to flower. For over a month it has not grown at all and has concentrated on several smallish flowers seeing as it is only about a foot tall. The flowers are coming closer and closer to being ready to harvest. However, I have been hoping that the plant would revert to veg with the days getting longer so I could harvest more later in the year. When these early buds are ready, can I take a few of them off the plant and hope for it to continue to reveg and flower, or will that kill it? Does it even have a chance of going back into veg? Should I leave the buds on?

Thanks for everyone's insight! I hope that made sense

I understand your situation completely. You should be able to harvest and have the plant regenerate and go into veg. I was forced to put a flowering plant outside one time and after a couple weeks I harvested the bud. By this time it had shot up a lot of new growth. You can get several harvests from one plant.

In the next couple of weeks, with the days getting longer, you very well might see some new growth developing and vegging up around the bud sites.

When you harvest the buds, leave at least one node on each side branch, and take the large central cola, as well.

As mentioned, you should see new leaves appearing on some or all the bud tips very soon.
