Early pistil growth are brownish red?

Hey ive been growing for years, and cant say i recall seeing pistils being reddish brown, and curled on early bud growth.
Its only on one of my plants, and the rest of the plant is fine.
Not sure if this is indicative of an issue, or just genetic, and im just being overly cautious?

The brown pistils are telltale signs of russet mite infestation. If you take a closer look with magnification you will see them.

I checked it out with my tiny 60× loupe, and didn't see any critters, so i just ordered a 50×-100× digital magnifier which can be recorded on my phone to get a better look.
I appreciate any insight.

Its outside with ten other ladies that are totally fine, and its been quite dry this summer thankfully.
Im hoping its just something itll grow out of. ‍lol

Check the base of fan leaves and stem areas right at the node. I circled the areas you should be looking at.

I’m pretty confident that is your issue, russets love that dry, late summer weather.

I've never seen this, and thought i was just being anal-retentive.
You're the only one/source thats given me an idea thats making sense.
