Hello family
I have two specific issues I could really use some advice on..
I am a legal caregiver in CO.. however my seeds got seized at the border and I had to go with plan B this season and get some clones from a local caregiver.. The clones appeared to be in great shape, however after making the transition outside for a couple weeks I have noticed almost all the strains are showing pre-flowers (see images). The only thing I could come up with so far is.. A) they could be stressed from the move outside or B) the grower I got the teens from had started to flower them and I just didn't notice the very early pre-flowers?
Im guessing this will obviously stunt the growth temporarily, but they should revert back to VEG now that they are under full sun in June? Any help would be greatly appreciated! The plants are still small and nowhere near the size I would hope for harvest in October, definitely not auto-flower strains.
My second issue is I transplanted the majority of my plants from their 1 gallon pots to their final 15 gallon fabric pots. All the plants had solid root growth and were ready to pot-up. Now a quick explanation why I didn't pot up more slowly.. its still widely debated how much of a difference it really makes to pot up, and from the research I have done it doesn't really matter too much in fabric pots because of how the roots grow they will take full advantage of the soil no matter what. I took the calculated decision to transplant to the final pots to save myself some time and money. Since I am growing in a super soil, nutrients and water are not a problem for me and although it might take the pots longer to dry up I think the plants will grow quickly.
Now my issue is this one particular strain, deathstar, is obviously really troubled right now. I transplanted Friday and watered heavy, then after seeing the plant sag I decided to water again Monday to see if the plant was under-watered (temps have been high and they were moved to a greenhouse).. I checked again today and the soil is still moist and the plant (picture attached) is obviously still not looking happy. This was the worse plant, the other deathstars didn't have their leaves perked but were not as bad as this one. Is this plant overwatered? Stressed from the transplant? A problem with the roots? As always I really appreciate all help and feedback. Its been 5 days since the transplant..
Peace and Love!
