Easiest setup for CFL rubbermaid grow?

What's the most easiest, efficient lighting fixture to construct for your Rubbermaid grow box? I have never worked with wires.

Is there also wiring 101 for simple light constructions thread? So I would feel more confident in wiring something up. I'm super concern about safety and being within that area.

Would I also use a surge protector for safety? Thanks

Thanks

I was considering build a veg box out a rubbermaid and I was going to go with one of those clip lamp work light things. You could easily cut a whole in the top of the container and put the socket through, then the reflector would hold it in place. That along with a couple Y splitters and you'll be all set.

Also wiring a vanity strip to an extension chord is really easy, that's what I did for my setup. 2 seconds of research and you can find out how to do that.

Use a 2 ft t5 fixture, low heat, high light output, change the bulbs from grow to flower. I don't need a fan in my box with a t5 u can get one for about 20.00 on amazon.

I use two Totes (one upside down with bottom (top) cut out. I use a 3 bulb vanity fixture + LEDs (no more cfls)

I use two Totes (one upside down with bottom (top) cut out. I use a 3 bulb vanity fixture + LEDs (no more cfls). You can buy CREE household bulbs at HD/Lowes @ $12.97/9.5w. Let me tell you, 9.5 led watts performs way better than 23 cfl watts, lasts 50K hours + no toxic mercury to dispose of
