easiest way to make hash oil?

can anyone enlighten me on what is the easiest way to make hash oil?

i just made my 1st batch of oil in a long time, for the 'dirt cheap' simplest way, use a covering of vodka(higher proof the better) over shredded weed, let soak for a hour or so, filter out vegetation with screen/filter, then apply 'gentle heat' to get a residue of oil
this is not the real 'high grade' oil of butane extraction, but is still quite potent(and very easy)
just tried out my homemade vaporizer - after that saying goodbye to oil - better all the way around
