Whats up, everyone. I got a question for anyone nice enough to answer. I have alot of whitish colored bumps on the bottom of my stem. Its starting to travel up from the base. Its about 4 to 4 and a half months old, 3 and a half feel tall, and I have been growing it mainly outside. I dont have a pic at the moment but are there any pointers as to what this might be? Harmful or natural growing? Thanks.bongsmilie

Ive got samll lil white bumps at the very base of my stems.. but they have been there since seedling and large strong flowering plants now.. the people here told me it was nothing to worry about but I had pics for them as well, also mine is hydro.. If ya get a chance to post a pic that will be a way to get a good solid answer! welcome to riu

if its really bad, you may need to repot them, its the plants attempt at making more roots.

MOST likely it is the plant trying to sprout root out the side of the stem.

If anything it is a very good sign because it shows that your plant is happy and wanting more and more.

Last year I started a plant outside and then brought it inside when it got to big to hide from my neighbors. When I did I brought all kinds of mites and fungus.
