Thanks, thats encouraging!
Did you remove your plants from their original net pots before transplanting?
How much perlite did use with the soil mix?
Ph at 6.0 or...?
Any other additives that you used with soil?
The netpots went in the soil, unnecessary stress taking them out, i just let the top layer of hydroton fall out before i put them in
I'm usually a coco grower but i'm on a hard budget now so i need to do this grow with soil. I just used a budget potting mix and added 1 part perlite to 5 parts soil, i would have added more but i'm running low on perlite. I also use dolomite lime for cal/mag and as a ph buffer for the soil. I waterd with ph 7 water and a light dose of blood and bone nutes, 6 is more of a hydro/coco ph.
I hope you try DWC again though, the growth rate is insane when it goes right. The only reason mine went wrong, even though i had a water chiller and treated with h202 every time, was the fact that i couldn't clean my shitty fragile bucket setup properly. Pretty sure it'll be problem free next time.
EDIT: people also mentioned air pumps. I had a 6w airpump in a 10 gallon system, that was another
contributing factor to my issues.
