eaten plants

I had six plants and I released a bunch of ladybugs there, and I went back a week later and one plant is completely gone and one is almost fully eaten, I put up some plastic messh netting, does anyone have any other advice on what I should do or what could be eating my plants?

More than likely deer or rabbits are eating your plants. Where I live deer don't bother plants, but rabbits will.

You did the right thing putting a barrier up, as that should prevent further damage. I hear urine and hair clippings spread around the grow will prevent deer from coming into the area, since deer rely heavily on their sense of smell.
