ebb and flood

hi guys well i was just wonderin the over flow pipe on my ebb and flood system is kinda low but its the highest it will go i was wondering if i need to hand water for a few days to get the roots going before the system can flood the roots because the water level wont reach at this stage will it?

Yup just grab a cup and give each one a cup or two once or twice a day. Don't overdue it as they will find the water quicker if you let the rocks dry a bit between hand waterings.

is it pvc? can you just slap a coupling or elbow fitting on there? that'll give you about another inch. if you need more height, snip a piece of pvc pipe and just extend it even further.

Your flood height is pretty dang important. Dial it in to where it needs to be.
