ebb&flo anyone ever put airstones in the flood tray

just courious if anyone has ever put airstones in the flood tray under the grow medium so when it floods oxygen right into the water then right to the root system beings how the like oxygenated water??? im using grow rock thats why i was courious thanks if you reply

I don't see the need...water picks up O2 with greater surface area; if you think about it: plenty of that as each hydroton or perlite or whatever gets individually drenched....my guess is O2 is probably already near saturation as the water wraps around each "sphere" (or whatever the media is) individually

I keep an overkill amount of air stones in each res and add h2o2 twice weekly. No o2 issues. If you can, you should.
