I have grown many times from soil indoors and have got great turn out!!! Now Ive read that hydro is how to get bigger yeilds with faster growth!!! Sounds great , so I bought a hydro set by cap called ebb n grow. I set it all up keeping the two gallon pots flat on the ground same as the controler bucket filled up the pots with hydroton and ran the system for two- three days to see it work and keep the ph and ppm how it's suposed to be. Right away I noticed that the water going to the pots stays in the bottom of the pots. I see that to be a problem later on. So I was thinking I have this 1.5 in thick styrofoam sheet that I can slide under each pot to lift enough of the buckets to drain better. I can even cover them in Mylar to get light under them. Only problem I see with that is what that might do to the water line I need to touch the roots/rockwool. Has anyone have this problem? Also the ebb n grow is supposed to be supper fast with growth. When I would bring home these clones from the medical club and transplant them in there soil pots. One week later there growing like crazy. So that's why I checked the rockwool lastnight for how dry they are and I'm thinking two times a day flooding the pots every 12hours is probly not enough. So i guess what I'm asking is if there's anyone out there with key knowlege about how to work this ebb n grow. Like how often do you flood and drain every day from begining to harvest. Pluse should I lift the pots 1.5 inches above the control bucket for better drain? Or will that cause other problems? Please help me with this ebb n grow. Thank you for your time
