I just had my room wired with 2 seperate 20 amp circuits, to run x1 1000w ballast per circuit.
The one circuit is into an arc fault breaker while the other is not.
I have been vegging off the regular breaker circut until I tried to plug the 2nd 1000w ballast in, running it off the arc fault breaker. No dice.
Soon as the ballast fires up it trips the breaker (arc fault). I have 2 seperate makes of 1000w digi ballasts, either one trips the breaker...
Ive read some blogs of people saysing that even the ballasts of t5 shop lights will trip an arc fault. If thats true, why do i see people running them without any issues? The outlet are all tested and good to go...
Anyone have any input?
