Emergency situation

So here is my dilemma, I have a plant about 6 feet tall that has been grown outside. I am a nube but had some help and it was a perfectly healthy plant beginning to flower but it got uprooted (girlfriend issues). The roots are obviously significantly damaged but it was such a thick stalk and root system that it seemed like it could be saved. I wanted to baby it so I put it in a pot with the only fertilizer I had at the time, Miracle Grow African Violet mixed with a little generic potting soil and watered it. It has been three days since this happened, I haven't watered it again because it is still moist. I had 5 CFL lights on it which I thought would be easier on it than direct sunlight. The Ph is slightly acidic now and the plant has gotten droopier every day. I am really worried about it dying. I read about trimming leaves and Superthrive(which I bought today but have not yet used, not trimmed yet either). Before I do anything else I was hoping to get some advice.

Those lights aren't gonna equal the intensity of sunlight. I would put it back outside if you can. If not, I recommend chopping it up2 a more manageable size that the roots and light can handle. You'll lose yield but not the tree. I have not tried but I heard if you go from outside2 inside the results are not stellar, so again, if you can put it back outside.

Thanks folks, I did a modest trim job and added some superthrive. I purposely used a lighting I thought would be gentle but if that isn't helpful I'll put it back outside. I'll see how it goes and hopefully have something good to report in a few days. And yeah, she isn't my girlfriend anymore, so hopefully I don't see her again.
