empty jar to cure or not??

Ive got my 2 ounces in a jar to cure. When I open the jar to let out moisture, should I tip the buds out or is opening the lid enough??

I burp mine everyday for a few minutes. Really no need to move the buds around unless they are packed in there. After about two weeks, I just let them sit for a few months.
