Would a 150 Watt HPS light, and 2 20 watt Fluorescents be enough for the flowering stage of one plant
OK, scratch the HPS, instead i have ordered some 2700K CFL lights for the flowering of my plant right now I am using two standard clamp lights with coneish reflectors. Right now they just have 100W cheap hardware store CFL's in them. soon they will have the 2700K CFL's in them, Plus one of the 100W CFL. i think the New lights are 55 watts each, so i will have 110 watts of 2700K light, and 100 watts of cheap CFL light... Should that b enough for my one plant... I dont have any mylar, and im not using tin foil, so there isnt too much reflection...Would a 150 Watt HPS light, and 2 20 watt Fluorescents be enough for the flowering stage of one plant
perhaps i worded that a little confusing... I know the difference between Wattage, and The Kelvin temp... The new lights are 55 Watt 2700K, the old ones i dont know what the Kelvin temp is, but they are 100 Watt Cfl's (yes a 100W eqivilant) And i have decided to use the 2700K bulbs instead of the HPS, the HPS puts off too much heat. The 2700K CFL's are supposed to be close to the same spectrum.Your confusing color and wattage. and the hardware store bulbs are 100w incandescent equivalents they are about 23w total. 2700k is the color temp they come in all kinds of wattage's , Go with the 150 HPS but dont buy that fucker from sunsystems, buy an ECONO LIGHT 25$ for the same thing basically
I have a 150w hps I got about 7 days ago, and its putting off absolutely no extra heat. Im using a normal house fan thats like 10 bucks at wal mart, and it keeps the temps around 75perhaps i worded that a little confusing... I know the difference between Wattage, and The Kelvin temp...
