I just got some Epsom salt for a mag (looks like) def. Would it be okay to foliar feed today and add to watering in 3 days? Or overkill?
Shoul I just wait to feed via dissolved in water for soil?

A few of my plants are effected, some worse then other, and I really need to feed but don't wanna over do t but I don't want to just foliar Fred either, a I heard it is better to mix with water

What is the reason for foliar feeding did you just water
if not in fear of over watering then just mix it in water and feed
i do 2 tbls per a gallon but in response to overdoing it no if you
put some lightly on top and water a little it shouldn't hurt unless
you have some major issues going on hope that helps.

Foliar will be quicker in fixing the deficiency.
2 percent solution of Epsom Salt. Is what you need to mix up.
IMO- I wouldn't foliar epsom salt if your in flower.

Just buy some Calmag which will do more for you plant. If you can't get any (it's on Amazon) then use the Epsom salts, otherwise I would shell out the bucks and screw the salts. Peace

I know all about cal mag but due to limited funds right now i cant get any, and I got this def in some of my plants and they need something now.

I heard not to foliar feed during lights on due to hot spots, is this accurate? Or should I just wait 2-3 days till watering? In the meantime I might spray some epsom around the base of the plant on the soil for now.

Can you remove them from under the light, spray allow to dry then put back in the room?

It would be quite a bit of trouble to move the plants, 1 by 1, but doable. Ill probably end up doing this, thanks for idea bro! Also once they have dried should I have to spray down with plain water to rinse?

JUst turn your lights off for a hour or two when you foliar feed.........it won't hurt a thing. ONly the dark period is important when flowering, not the light period. Keep your fans at high so it dries quickly and after it does, then turn lights back on. I'd start adding 1-2 teaspoons per gallon until problem is gone.

How often should I foliar feed till my deffeiency is at least in check?

I sprayed today at 1 tsp per liter and watered with 1 tbs per gal. My measurements were obtained by quite a bit of input from experienced growers.
In anyones opinion Are these measurements on point?

As took some advice from someone here on Riu and instead of turning my lights off the foliar feed I jjust moved my plants out from my room an under my light and then sprayed, once dried I moves back.

Opinions are like assholes....everyone has one.

By the way, I typically wash my plants off the following day to remove the dried salts from the leaves.

Usually you foliar spray with in the first 20 minutes or so of lights on to insure the Stomata are open.
your 24/0, I probably would of turned the lights off for 6 hours, and then back on to make sure the Stomata were open.
Being careful not to spray the lights.

Your doing a good job. Keeping an eye on your babies. Remember "Love Can Kill" Don't over do it.
It's easier to fix a nutrient deficiency than to fix over nutrient problems.

Good Luck With Your Grow.

I think you went a little overboard with a tablespoon per gallon, I add a 1/2 teaspoon in a gallon and it boosts my ppm by almost 100

You think even though the plants weren't in darkness and the stomata not open, would the Epsom salts be atleast somewhat effective?
