Epsom salt

i believe i have a magnesium deficiency with my plant and i know epsom salt is used to cure that,
i was wondering......if i put the rite amounts of epsom salt in the water i use to water my plant with, but then it turns out not to be a magnesium problem, would the epsom salt in the water damage the plant up in any sort of way?

or do you think i should just go for it and see if it improves my plant in any way?

i just dont wanna get it damaged anymore than it already is

try it and see.it wont hurt anything.alot of people have mag problems.i had it a few times on my soil grows.also a picture will show us what it could be.so always post pictures when posting so we can see whats going on.

Go ahead and mix it up. A tsp/gal water. I don't have a link but there are pix of what plants with Mg defs look like here. I think Mg defs tend to be seen along with Ca defs hense the product CalMag. I've used Epsom salts solutions a lot and recommend it highly.

doesnt look like a cal/mag deficiency to me.. i agree with duke looks like something splashed on the leaves maybe while you watering?

I would mix 1 tablespoon of epson salt to 1 gallon of water. Foliar spray it a bit, epson salt has "healing qualities".

yes.it looks liike classic mag deficiency.you can tell because the leaves will hook around like "claws" .you do have some spots also so you need some micro nutrients asap.heres a dfe chart for future reference

damn yo that literaly sounds exactly rite because just recently i was tryin to water near the stem and i didnt splsh some water on the plant itself i did not no that that was possible but that seems rite caus the spots havent really grown

the truth is nowadays your better off just giving your plants a feed with a soluble fertilizer.epsom salts are great but they mostly used in horticulture ages ago.

Your rite its from the water droplets just recently i had watered an poored it for the firsttime over the leaves, guess it was a bad idea, its lookim great today an not spreading at all so its not any deficiency just the water droplets, i didnt know that culd happen from that thanks!

damn u kno what i didnt even realize there was a second page an i thought none of my post were posting i feel like a jackass lol, but yah its either the watering or the deficiency caus it hasnt spread its lookin lushus but imma go ahead and take some action on the deficiency part and just see what i can do for it.
